The user can now start new songs at a HIGHER phrase level if they are good enough (Level 7 as opposed to Level 5), and they can also level up high-level phrases with fewer correct repetitionsħ.

Completing the phrase on the set level carries that progress into the full song, unless the new phrase level is LOWER than what has actually been achieved naturallyĦ. The user is now able to select their own “Phrase Mastery” level in the Pause Menu of Riff Repeater activities. The user is now able to invoke the precision tuner before quick-tuning in any song or event, excluding multiplayerĥ. The amount of lives that the user has in Riff Repeater has been increased to 30 when selected from Event Manager or Song selection.Ĥ. A warning message appears on the Pause Screen informing the user that pausing the game again will disqualify their score from the leaderboardsģ. A fix has been entered to disqualify any Guitarcade Game score that was gotten through exploitation of the Pause Button. The user is now able to select ‘Songs’ from the Multiplayer Post Play screen, allowing them to select a new song without having to re-calibrate the guitar each timeĢ.
Many of the requested fixes have been implemented but people still aren’t satisfied! Go figure…ġ.

A subscription to Rocksmith Plus will cost $14.99 per month in addition, a three-month membership will be available for $39.99, while an annual subscription will cost $99.99.Today was the day Rocksmith players had been waiting for, patch day. It is scheduled to launch this summer on Windows PC in the fall on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and sometime after that on Android and iOS.ĭuring a presentation, Ubisoft said Rocksmith Plus players will also be able to use something called Rocksmith Workshop to create and add their own guitar arrangements to the game. The game still does not have a release date. Update: Ubisoft formally announced Rocksmith Plus at Saturday’s Ubisoft Forward event. Saturday’s email did not specify how many songs would be available with the base game, or how deep the subscription service runs, or its pricing, for that matter. Rocksmith 2014’s song library included 66 playable tracks on the disc, with more available as downloadable content. That game launched for PC platforms in addition to the two consoles, and their successors. That was followed two years later by Rocksmith 2014, considered a replacement rather than a sequel. The first Rocksmith launched in 2011 but only for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The program’s Riff Repeater, which can control a song’s speed to help players practice, also returns. Newcomers and returning musicians will find “an expansive library” of songs in Rocksmith Plus’s catalog. A gif included with the email Gibson sent today.

A closed beta on PC will also begin soon, with registration open today. Per the marketing email, Ubisoft is apparently partnering with Gibson again, as the company’s Epiphone, Kramer, and Gibson models of acoustic, electric, or bass guitars are specifically mentioned as compatible. That’s according to an email that guitar maker Gibson let slip before Ubisoft could announce the video game at its E3 keynote on Saturday. Ubisoft’s 10-year-old Rocksmith franchise will become an “interactive music learning subscription service,” with its next entry, Rocksmith Plus.
